Family Pictures

So I am officially obsessed with getting family pictures... Cooper keeps changing and I want it documented... Jeff tolerates it :). About a month ago I had a fellow VonTrapp member, Skoticus, (long story) who is a budding photographer take some pictures for us. You can see more at this link http://skoticusphotography.blogspot.com/2010/05/deena-jeff-cooper-utah-family.html. I got them yesterday and absolutely LOVE them... here are a few. Special thanks to Joshua Cooper for letting us borrow your shirt :)

Orange Chicken... no bueno

There isn't very much going on in the Robbins' household hence the lack of updating (that or i'm just lazy...hmm) either way I thought a little summary would be nice. As Michelle said I need to start thinking "this would make a nice blog" throughout the day :)
Cooper:
Coopie (his affectionate nickname) is now 15 months old and growing everyday. He is talking up a storm. Most of it is gibberish but he can say mama, dada, bye bye, peek-a-boo, and that. He probably says more but I haven't picked up on it yet. He has now gone from walking to running and loves to get into anything in reach. Jeff calls him distruct-a-baby. I'm getting more lax with letting him feed himself which he thoroughly enjoys. He is now sleeping 12 hours at night which I throughly love!

Deena:
I just celebrated my 24th birthday on Monday. We went up to Kaysville to be with my family. It didn't go according to plan at all but that's ok. The end of my birthday is another story. We stopped to get Panda Express in Salt Lake and I got food poisoning... I spent my birthday night sick (I'll spare you the details). All in all I'm doing good. I love being home with Coop and am working on my homemaking skills. We have some awesome neighbors who keep me company when I get bored.

Jeff:
Another semester down and two more to go. He is currently studying up a storm for the lsat (the law school admissions test) which he will take on June 7th. I can't wait! It will be nice to have him for a month before he starts working full time for American Heritage. He has been asked to be one of the head TAs this upcoming year. They revamped the freshman program and it's a big deal, you can ask him if you want details, so he is going to help adjust American Heritage. A few weeks ago he fulfilled a childhood desire and dyed his hair black. Cooper didn't recognize him at first and most people don't either. It is really funny to see the reactions on people's face when they see him for the first time.

and now to reward you for reading all of that here are some pics :)

Ketchup...er...catch up

So it has been 4 months and Jeff chastises me for being such a terrible blogger... oh well. The holidays came and went... Cooper enjoyed the wrapping paper more than the presents but he is starting to like them now so I guess he was just a little to young to appreciate the toys. He went and sat on Santa's lap and I'm proud to say he didn't cry... he just looked confused.

Jeff started school again the beginning of January and a few weeks later I received my diploma so I am officially a college graduate! He is looking for to being done with his undergrad next April and then it is off to Law School. The location is TBA, much to my chagrin... i'm too much of a planner.

Cooper turned 1 on Feb. 11th and we celebrated by going to get his first hair cut. Jeff convinced me that he looked hoboish enough to warrant a haircut. A couple of days later we have a little party for him with the traditional cake in the face moment... he didn't disappoint. A couple of days later he surprised us by taking his first steps and is mostly walking now except when he gets excited because he walks too fast then falls flat on his face. He is developing his talents to become a child prodigy drummer... we still have a ways to go but he enjoys it :). Now that the weather is a little warmer, Cooper has been introduced to the magical world of playgrounds. He loves to swing and slide... the wood chips make a tasty snack...

That's all for now... enjoy the pics :)
